STRATEGIC GOALS

Our strategic goals are in two parts, namely: What we are determined to "BE" and what we are determined to "DO".

PART 1: The True Church of God is determined to"BE"

-  A church where the Holy Bible is used as the ACID TEST and the PLIMB LINE to measure all doctrine, actions, words and ministrations.

-  A church where the glory of God is regularly experienced by the worshippers, where the Holy Spirit is in control of the worship and ordinary human organization is minimal.

-  A church where sinners and rejects of society are sure to find welcome and are helped to experience an evident spiritual life-transformation through the power of our living Saviour Jesus Christ.

-  A church where the distinctive identification of a true member is the pursuit and practice of the TEN SIGNS OF TRUE MEN, namely:

Holiness, Love, Faith, Word-Soundness and Faithfulness, Simplicity, Joy, Submission, Intense Prayer Life, Evangelism, Holy Spirit Fullness.

-  A church where HEAVEN is the primary goal of each member and where RAPTURE-READINESS is the watchword and guiding principle for lifestyle and action.

-  A church where leaders as well as members always seek God’s highest will, not a second-class permissive or human will; a church where all willingly submit to the leading of the Holy Spirit to fulfill that divine will, where forced or grudging obedience is despised.

-  A church where fear of demons, witchcraft, poison, disease or death is conquered in the heart of each member, where members discover and live out their power and authority as God’s ambassadors on earth.

-  A church where the gifts of the Holy Spirit continue to manifest, operating under sober spiritual authority, where those who operate in the gifts of the Spirit are mightily anointed of God and are helped to mature and excel.

-  A church where members experience and manifest the riches and prosperity of their Heavenly Father, believing that the old Adamic curse, on their lives have been irreversibly broken through the redeeming work of Christ, holding strongly to their unity with God and with one another as brethren and standing firmly on their position as children of Abraham through faith.

-  A church that refuses to conform to this world system, even though living and operating actively within it; a church that makes a positive difference wherever it operates.

PART 2: The True Church of God is determined to"DO" the following

-  Continue to reach out to heaven in earnest prayer for the end-time rain of revival, until it is made real all over the church and every available hand to put to the harvest

-  Take EVANGELISM seriously, constantly seek to enlarge the Kingdom of Christ, go out where the sinners are, pierced the darkness and liberate perishing souls into the light of God’s truth.

-  Create a climate in which every one who steps into the church is made to realize how important he or she is before God; a climate where every person (especially the new) receives C.A.R.E. (Courtesy, Attention, Recognition, Encouragement) and is ministered to holistically – i.e. body, soul, spirit and materially as much as is practicable – without reference to the person’s background.

-  Test and evaluate every direction, every rule, every message and every messenger by the BIBLE which is our accepted inerrant measuring standard for godliness and inspiration. Drop whatever contradicts this divine ‘plumb line’ but hold firmly to whatever is biblical.

-  Promote a culture that hates sin, severely avoids and promptly confesses and forsakes it, a culture in which hypocrisy and hidden evil motives are exposed and where the fear of God rules in every heart.

-  Vigorously promote LOVE, UNITY of spirit and CHRIST-LIKE-NESS; create a climate in which love settles all issues and prompt forgiveness of mutual offences ensures cleanness of hearts; in short, build THE PHILADELPHIAN CHURCH.

-  Organize God’s House as a veritable House of Prayer – a 24-hour-a-day prayer tower, a place where the needy may run to (or call) anytime and find a minister or intercessor standing by to help and counsel until victory is won.

-  Establish a climate where JUSTICE walks hand in had with MERCY, where justice and discipline are neither delayed nor perverted; where mercy is neither merchandised nor exploited.

-  Ensure that information on the Church is clearly and regularly communicated, that guidelines for conduct and relationships are clearly spelt out as best as can be, so that careless conduct and sins of ignorance which distract and hinder divine progress are eliminated, and so that stubborn rebellion can be seen for what it is.

-  Encourage every believer to be busy and find something to do for God, to work hard for himself or herself and to promote the family wellbeing.
